Sugar House Sparkler with Hook’s Rub Smokin’ Sweetness for Hook’s Rub Thirsty Thursday
This drink has a beautiful color and is the perfect sweet drink that’s guaranteed to cool down any pool party or warm spring/summer night. Our Smokin’ Sweetness on the rim adds a smoky note to the flowery sweetness of the hibiscus tea. This can be enjoyed by adults and kids alike! Tools:
• Hook’s Rub Smokin’ Sweetness
• Highball Glass
• Glass Rimmer or small plate
• Cocktail Spoon or long iced tea spoon
• Straw
Ingredients:
• Sugar House Vodka
• Hibiscus Leaf Tea (steeped for 5-10 minutes in warm water and cooled)
• Simple Syrup
• Topo Chico Mineral Water
• Maraschino Cherries
• Crushed Ice
Method:
1. Pour simple syrup in the pad of the cocktail rimmer & pour some Smokin’ Sweetness in the “salt” or “sugar” area. You can also use a small plate or bowl for the syrup and seasoning.
2. Rim the edge of the Highball glass by first dipping in the syrup then in the Smokin’ Sweetness making sure to not get any seasoning inside the glass.
3. Pour in 2 oz of vodka, 1/4 cup of cooled Hibiscus tea, 4 oz of simple syrup.
4. Stir ingredients with spoon.
5. Carefully fill the glass with crushed ice almost to the brim.
6. Top with Topo Chico and stir! (Vital step)
7. Garnish with Hibiscus leaves and a cherry.
8. Sip with a straw and lick the Smokin’ Sweetness for an smoky/salty flavor pop!

Non-Alcoholic/Kids Version
Tools:
Same, but omit the vodka. You can use the Highball glass or a plastic cup for kids!
Ingredients:
• Hibiscus Leaf Tea (steeped for 5-10 minutes in warm water and cooled)
• Simple Syrup
• Topo Chico Mineral Water or Sprite
• Maraschino Cherries
• Crushed Ice
Method:
1. Pour simple syrup in the pad of the cocktail rimmer & pour some Smokin’ Sweetness in the “salt” or “sugar” area. You can also use a small plate or bowl for the syrup and seasoning.

3. Pour in 1/4 cup of cooled Hibiscus tea, 4 oz of simple syrup.
4. Stir ingredients with spoon.
5. Carefully fill the glass with crushed ice almost to the brim.
6. Top with Topo Chico or Sprite
7. Garnish with Hibiscus leaves and a cherry.
8. Sip with a straw and lick the Smokin’ Sweetness for a smoky/salty flavor pop!
