The Rio Grande Margarita with Hook’s Tacos Everyday for Hook’s Rub Thirsty Thursday

The Rio Grande Margarita with Hook’s Tacos Everyday

On the border between Texas and Mexico is The Rio Grande (or Rio Bravo del Norte in Mexico). Running for over 1800 miles, it is indeed a “Big River!” We’ve paid homage to this River that connects Texas to Mexico with a Hornitos Tequila margarita that promises to be big on refreshing flavor, but is a cinch to make. We threw these down for Cinco De Mayo, but honestly, you can make these any day of the year. These were served along side some pork and pineapple al pastor tacos. Here’s that easy drink recipe along with a tasty kids version!

 Tools:

  • Glass of any shape. We like these sleek highball glasses.
  • Cocktail Shaker
  • Cocktail Jigger
  • Muddler or the handle of a wooden spoon
  • Sharp Knife & cutting board
  • A Plate or Salt Rimmer
