Bacon Brie 
& Spinach Crescent Wreath

Do you want an easy to assemble holiday party appetizer that will leave your party guests or family in awe? Well look no further. Our Bacon Brie & Spinach Crescent Wreath uses so much umami and a pop of flavor with our Lemon Pepper that will keep everyone coming back for more cheesy goodness!

INGREDIENTS:

8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled (use tofurkey, shitake mushrooms or some other bacon substitute for a vegetarian option)
Chopped parsley, for garnish (optional)
2 (8-oz ) tubes Crescent rolls
1 12-oz wheel of brie, cut into cubes
1 egg yolk, lightly beaten
1-2 Cups Chopped Spinach
1/3 cup cranberry sauce
Hook's Lemon Pepper
Kosher salt
Splash of Water or Milk for egg wash

TOOLS:

13x9 cookie sheet
Parchment Paper or Aluminum foil
Cooking Spray (olive oil or canola oil)
Sharp Knife
Cutting Board
Wire Whisk
Silicon Brush

 

METHOD:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°.
  2. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. Unroll crescent rolls, separating each triangle. Arrange in a sunburst pattern, with pointed ends of the triangles facing outward (the base of the triangles should overlap).
  3. Spread cranberry sauce on dough. Top with spinach, brie and bacon.
  4. Sprinkle on Lemon Pepper to taste.
  5. Fold triangle tips over filling and tuck under base to secure.
  6. In a small bowl, separate and whisk egg yolk and splash of milk/water. Brush top of dough with egg and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  7. Prepped wreath image below.
  8. Bake until dough is golden 15-20 minutes.
  9. Garnish with parsley and serve. 

Serves 8 to 10.
